I painted the floral patterns on this mug using coloured engobes. The engobe gives the mug its warm tone, forming the base layer of colour. Some parts are gently carved - around the leaves and on the handle. The surface is coated with a transparent glaze and a soft, natural shine.
The clay is fired at high temperatures, resulting in a durable and sturdy piece that is both microwave and dishwasher safe. The glaze applied to each mug is lead-free, ensuring a safe drinking experience.
